# Terrace on mobile

> Built for the field, not just the desk.

Terrace runs on your phone, your tablet, and your computer, with the same login and the same data on all of them. It's built for the field first, so the work gets recorded where it actually happens instead of on a notepad that has to be typed up later.

## The same operation, everywhere

Sign in on any device and you're looking at the same live operation. Take an order on your phone at a customer's gate and it's on the office computer before you're back in the truck. There's nothing to sync by hand and no separate "mobile version" to keep up to date.

## Built to fit a phone

On a smaller screen, Terrace reflows instead of shrinking:

* Layouts drop to a single column, so there's no pinching and panning.
* Dense tables become tap-friendly cards.
* The sidebar tucks into a menu to give the content the full screen.
* The actions you use most stay easy to reach.

## Roles that fit the phone

The people who spend the most time on a phone get views shaped for it:

* **Drivers** land on [Today's Plan](/guides/trucking) and an **Active Order** view built for the cab: the address, the contact, the items, and buttons to mark a delivery picked up and delivered.
* **Field crews** work the [growing schedule](/guides/growing) and record batches right in the rows where the plants are.
* **Retail Checkout** turns a phone or tablet into a [point-of-sale](/guides/orders#retail-checkout) for the farm stand or will-call counter.

## Scout on your phone

[Scout](/guides/scout), Terrace's AI, is on every screen, phone included. Ask it a question or get a low-stock alert while you're away from the office, not just when you're back at the desk.

<Note>
  Everything in these guides works on mobile. Where a screen looks different on a phone, it's the same feature reflowed to fit, not a cut-down version.
