Customers are the people and businesses you sell to. A well-kept customer record makes every order faster to create, correctly priced, and easier to collect on.

The Customers screen

The list shows every customer with their status: Active, Inactive, Pending, Past Due, or Suspended. Cut the list down with smart filters:
  • All Customers
  • Recently Ordered (Last 30 days)
  • Inactive (No orders in 90 days), your win-back list
  • Has Orders / No Orders
Sort by Name (A-Z) or Order Count to find who you’re looking for, and export the list when you need it elsewhere.

The customer profile

Open a customer to see their full relationship with your operation, organized into four tabs:
  • Overview: contact details, addresses, and headline stats: Customer Since, Total Orders, and Total Spend.
  • Orders: every order they’ve placed, with statuses.
  • Financials: invoices, payments, and outstanding balance.
  • Activity: a timeline of everything that’s happened: Order Placed, Invoice Created, Invoice Emailed, Invoice Paid, Payment Received, Note Added, Profile Updated, Status Changed.
Customer Notes live on the profile too, the place for delivery quirks, gate codes, and who to call when the office doesn’t answer.

Pricing tiers and discounts

Assign each customer a pricing tier and their orders price themselves: line items default to tier pricing the moment you pick the customer in the order flow. Customer-level discounts stack on top and apply automatically. Managing discounts is its own permission, so you control who can give price breaks.

Email from the profile

Send customer emails without leaving Terrace:
  • Statement: a summary of their invoices and balance.
  • Reminder: a nudge on unpaid invoices.
Viewing, creating, editing, deleting, discounting, and exporting customers are each permission-gated. A team member might see customers but not be able to change their pricing.

Connect QuickBooks

Sync customers both ways with your accounting so neither side goes stale.
