QuickBooks
QuickBooks is the deepest integration. Connect from Integrations → QuickBooks, authorize with Intuit, and configure how data flows. The QuickBooks screen has five tabs: Overview, Review, Monitor, Activity, and Settings.Customer synchronization
Choose a direction: Import only (QuickBooks → Terrace), Export only (Terrace → QuickBooks), or Both directions. Then run Review Import or Review Export on demand. Customer sync no longer writes directly. Each run prepares a session on the Review tab where you approve matches before anything changes:- Exact matches on QuickBooks ID, email, or phone + name are auto-linked.
- Fuzzy name matches, shared emails, and cross-linked records are held for your decision.
- Every contact’s email and phone is considered, so a secondary contact in QuickBooks is never treated as drift on the primary.
Invoice export
Turn on Auto-export on create and finished invoices flow to QuickBooks automatically. Pick an Auto-export mode:- Direct — new invoices post to QuickBooks immediately.
- Review first — new invoices are held in a pending queue on the Review tab until you approve them.
Review tab
The Review tab lists every staged session — customer imports, customer exports, invoice imports, and the auto-export queue. For each item you see the match reason, field-by-field diffs, and inline controls to resolve conflicts. Commit approved items to write them through to QuickBooks, or discard the session to throw the proposals away. Sessions are re-committable, so a partial run can be finished later without duplicating records. The auto-export queue keeps its Processed list tidy on its own: committed and skipped items age out after 30 days, and the list shows the 25 most recent with an overflow note if there are more. Failed items stay put until you resolve them. Use Clear processed at the top of the Processed group to drop committed, skipped, and failed items on demand — pending items and the queue itself are untouched, and the full commit history remains available on the Activity tab.Reconciliation
Terrace periodically checks both sides and reports issues on the Monitor tab:- Amount and field mismatches between a Terrace invoice and its QuickBooks copy, including per-line-item, tax, amount-paid, and overpayment differences.
- Missing in Terrace — invoices that exist in QuickBooks after your connection date but not in Terrace.
- Unlinked invoices — Terrace invoices that lost their link to QuickBooks.
- Customer drift — field differences, dangling or inactive QuickBooks references, duplicate emails on either side, and two Terrace customers linked to the same QuickBooks record.
Square
Square powers card payments, including Retail Checkout point-of-sale flows, and recorded payments carry Square as their method so your records line up.More on the way
The Integrations screen lists what’s live and what’s coming. If a tool you depend on is missing, tell us: founders@terracetech.co.Connecting and configuring integrations is limited to Owner and Admin roles.
